So the dog ate your aligner, huh? We’ve all been there!
We’ve had aligners that have been sat on, left on planes and in fast food chains. There’s no shortage of excuses and we’ve practically heard them all!
We’re here to tell you that you’re not alone and the good news is that it’s easy to replace your aligners. With a few important steps, you’ll be right back to on your journey to loving your smile!
- You will need to make sure that you immediately wear an aligner from your previous set. For example, if you were wearing number 6, you will need to go back and wear number 5 to ensure that your teeth are held in place while you wait for your replacement.
- Contact EZ SMILE on 1300 936 400 or email [email protected] to order your replacement. We will need to know your full name, customer number (if you have it), what number aligner you have misplaced (you can find this on the packaging) and whether it is an upper or lower aligner.
- The cost to replace your aligner will be $99 and it will arrive usually within 14 days.
- REMEMBER – NEVER THROW AWAY your old aligners – you may need them to correct your teeth if you get slack with wearing your RETAINERS.
The most important thing to remember is to keep wearing the previous aligner until your new one arrives to prevent your teeth moving again. This process is also the same if you need a new retainer.
