EZ SMILE teeth aligners are designed to straighten your teeth gradually and over time with small movements that apply gentle pressure to your teeth. Our clear aligners are designed for your specific requirements, which means that each aligner will play a different role in moving your teeth into the desired position. Some teeth may require more movement than others which means that some teeth will need more pressure applied to them through your custom aligners.

Everyone is different, which is why we approach aligners on a case-by-case basis. Before we can determine if you are the right fit for aligners, we conduct a comprehensive assessment and evaluation. From there, we can determine the best course of action for your unique circumstances. If we believe that you are not the right fit or you require a different form of treatment, we’ll let you know – it’s that simple.

Teeth straightening is a work in progress. At the end of your treatment, you will need to continue to wear a retainer to ensure that your teeth maintain their new, corrected position. The retainer should be worn full-time for the first two to four weeks post treatment, or until you feel your teeth are not moving when retainer is out for the day, and then each night after that. If you don’t wear them each night you risk teeth moving again over time. This is the same for any teeth straightening process, clear aligners or metal braces.

Unlike some of the other companies on the market, we won’t try to charge you an additional fee for your initial retainers. Your first set of retainers are included in the cost of your aligners.

Retainers are designed to last for a period of 6 months. When required, you can purchase additional retainers for $149 per set.

Each case is different, so it is not possible to tell without reviewing your individual case and circumstances. In most cases, treatment will take somewhere between 4-8 months depending on the individual.

Getting the most out of aligners means making a serious commitment to getting the smile you want. You need to commit to wearing your aligners for a period of 20-hours each day. The more you commit, the better (and generally, faster) the results will be.

Yes! Once the experts in our lab have created your 3D teeth straightening plan it’s uploaded to your EZ SMILE customer dashboard. The plan will show you exactly how your teeth will gradually move into their final straight position. So, you’ll get to see what your future grin looks like.

It’s not until you see and love your plan that you pay for your aligners. Like our name – it’s that EZ!

Yes we can treat one arch, however you will need to take impressions of both arches.

There may be some discomfort initially as your mouth becomes accustomed to wearing the aligners and they initiate the movement of your teeth. This discomfort only lasts a few days and is really an indication that the aligners are doing their work. Some discomfort may recur, albeit in a more minor way when you move to the next aligner in the sequence.

EZ SMILE is not designed to fix or improve bites, in some instances there may be small improvements.

Your EZ SMILE aligner program recommends that you wear your aligners every day for a minimum of 20 hours a day, meaning at nighttime as well. Wearing these as recommended is the key to getting the smile you’ve always wanted. You should only remove your aligners before eating or drinking hot liquids and anything except water.

If you have not been wearing your aligners as prescribed for several weeks you may need to revert to the previous set to get your treatment back on track. Note if you have not worn them for more 8 weeks then you may need to reassess your entire treatment plan.

No, your EZ SMILE aligners simply slip over and are held in position by your teeth. The EZ SMILE system does not require any attachments.

All teeth realignment processes require some form of retention. You will need to wear a retainer in order to ensure that your teeth maintain their new and correct straightness. The retainer should be worn full time for the first two weeks post treatment and then nightly.

EZ SMILE will provide you with a set of retainers when we send you your final aligner package. Your first set of retainers are included in the price of aligners. Additional retainers can be purchased for $149 per set.
